The Green Bay Packers will be advancing further into the playoffs after defeating the Minnesota Vikings 24-10 on a night that featured Aaron Rodgers at his best.
The game started out going the Vikings' way as they milked the clock and got off a field goal. In the second Viking possession, the Packers answered back with a great stop that almost resulted in an interception.
Rodgers and running back Dujuan Harris led an attack in the team's second possession of the game that went from the 18 all the way to the end zone.
On 1st & Goal, Harris took a pitch, bounced it to the left and then took it to the house. At first, officials did not think it was a touchdown, but after reviewing the play Harris was in the end zone before his knees hit the ground.
At the end of the first quarter, the Packers had taken their first lead of the game.
The remainder of the game, it was all Packers. It wasn't even close. Not to blame Joe Webb, the Vikings' backup quarterback who filled in for Christian Ponder last minute, but he was missing receivers badly down the field.
His rushing game was decent, but after the first drive, there wasn't a lot he did right.
Rodgers took advantage of this and before the first half he already had 200 yards passing hitting eight different receivers. He finished the game with 274 passing yards and one touchdown.
John Kuhn racked up 19 yards overall, but had two touchdowns in the game to provide offense for the Packers.
The defense did a great job containing Adrian Peterson. When Peterson is at the end of an article, it's a sign the Vikings didn't do too well.
Up ahead for the Packers, they will face the San Francisco 49ers who are the second seed in the NFC playoffs.
