Could we have asked for a better NFL playoff Wild Card game weekend? Okay, maybe so, but the important part is that we get ready for the divisional round as the action kicks off next weekend as we will have two consecutive days of NFL playoff games.
Check out the matchups with time, dates and where you can watch the action. You will not want to miss this weekend's schedule as they will be must watch games to decide who will play in the Conference Championship games.
First up, Baltimore Ravens vs. Denver Broncos. As always, the AFC kicks off the action and this matchup features two of the toughest defenses. Forget the stats when it comes to the Ravens, they proved they are tough after shutting down Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts holding them to only nine points this past weekend.
However, though Peyton Manning was a Colt, he is not Luck. The Ravens will have to step up their game as the Broncos are the favorite to win the Super Bowl, at least in the Sports World Report writing staff.
The Broncos won the regular season meeting between these two back in Week 15 in a 34-17 routing.
Date: Saturday, January 12
Time: 4:30 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: CBS home of the AFC and Super Bowl XLVII
Second up in the schedule features two NFC powerhouses that met frequently in the late 90's. The Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers will close out Saturday's games. It's the veteran Aaron Rodgers facing the new kid Collin Kaepernick.
Though Rodgers brings the experience, the 49ers defense is a force and the Packers' quarterback might find himself scrambling out of the pocket more than he'd like.

Sunday schedule features two more excellent matches. This time, the tables turn as the NFC will kickoff the action at 1 p.m. ET as the Atlanta Falcons host the Seattle Seahawks.
If the Falcons want to win this one, they will have to earn it. The Seahawks' defense tightened up after the first two drives in their Wild Card game against the Washington Redskins and then punked a feeble Robert Griffin III around all night.
Date: Sunday, January 13
Time: 1 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: FOX
Wrapping up the division games schedule are the Houston Texans vs. New England Patriots. Hopefully, for every viewer's sake, the Texans can play better than they did when these two met in the regular season. That game finished 42-14 and it was unbearable to watch.
Tom Brady looks unstoppable on offense. Let's see what J.J. Watt has in store for the three-time Super Bowl winner chasing after more Lombardi Trophies.
Hey Brady, there's no Eli Manning in the playoffs this year. Maybe it's your turn to win it again?
