Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte will star in his very own six-episode reality television show that is scheduled to debut for the E! Network in April.

Viewers can expect to see a day in the life of the swim star as cameras will follow Lochte as he prepares for the 2016 Olympic Games, parties and spends time with his family, according to network representatives.

"He is an incredibly endearing personality who is sexy, entertaining and fun,"E! President Suzanne Kolb said in a statement. "Watching this show, I believe people will fall into three categories: they want to be him, sleep with him or mother him."

This won't be the first appearance Lochte has made since reaching his celebrity status as he made guest appearances on "30 Rock" and "90210".

The 28-year-old swimmer has won 11 Olympic medals in three Olympic Games and has set world records in two long-course individual events. He's one of the few swimmers in the world to have beaten Michael Phelps multiple times.

His appearance on his own reality show will add Lochte to a growing list of Olympic swimmers who have appeared on reality shows. For example, Phelps is scheduled to appear on "The Haney Project" in February, and in 2011 Ed Moses starred in his own show on Universal Sports, titled "Against the Tide."
