Brooklyn Nets forward Andray Blatche is being investigated by police for an alleged sexual assault claim that took place Tuesday in a Philadelphia hotel, according to the New York Daily News.

A 21-year-old woman has filed a complaint alleging that she was assaulted at the Four Seasons Hotel in Center City at around 4 a.m.

We are aware of the ongoing police investigation regarding a member of the Brooklyn Nets," the team said in a statement. "We will have no further comment until the investigation has concluded. All of our players are available for tonight's game."

A representative from the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia released statement:

"The Philadelphia Police Department responded to a call to Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia early this morning (January 8). We are fully cooperating with the police investigation. We would advise all questions be directed to the Philadelphia Police Department."

Blatche was taken in to the Philadelphia Special Victims Unit for questioning, although one Philadelphia television station reports that the player was not in the room where the alleged crime was committed. Several of the player's "associates" were also brought in for questioning.

A Philadelphia police spokesman confirmed that an investigation was underway, but at this time no criminal charges have been filed. Blatche, 26, is averaging 11.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. He has started seven of the team's 34 games this season.
