Well this was unprecedented, Katherine Webb became an over-night sensation after simply just showing up to her boyfriend's college football game. Miss Alabama is now expected to pose in the 2013 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue and rumors are circulating of a possible Maxim appearance as well.
Now, in case you don't know how this all started, Webb was sitting in the stands at the BCS National Football game cheering on A.J. McCarron, who quarterbacks for the Alabama Crimson Tide. As her boyfriend and the Tide destroyed Notre Dame, Webb was building a following without even knowing it.
Webb is only following 123 people. The number of followers was somewhere around that area, but now, it's sitting at 266,297.
Talk about stealing the spotlight.
Now, 2012 Miss Alabama will go from the stadium seats to the photo booths. Well, expect a more tropical setting than a photo booth as she is expected to form part of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
When will the SI swimsuit issue hit the shelves?
Gentlemen and ladies (ladies you're involved too, we know you enjoy looking at other females in bikinis as well), the issue will be released next month on Feb. 11. Meaning there's less than a month before we get to see Ms. Webb in a bikini once again.
Once again? Yes, as part of her Miss USA competition, Webb had sported a bikini.

You don't have to go too far into the slideshow before seeing her rocking her suit. Just in case you didn't have enough, here's another one.
At the end of the day, Webb has her heart and mind in the right place. In an interview with SI, she was referred to as "America's Sweetheart" and despite the sudden burst in popularity, it seems like nothing will change.
"Right now I'm just going along for the ride and seeing what happens. But at the end of the day, my relationship with AJ is what's important and if this stuff is going to hinder the relationship, then I don't have a problem saying no to certain things, especially if they'd embarrass me or his family."
Furthermore, she would like to use this opportunity to help become a role model for all the young girls in America, nothing Kim Kardashian-like though.
"I'm from Alabama and I have morals and I have class. That's my personality. A lot of people have said I'm the anti-Kim Kardashian and I'm all right with that."
