Who will win the NBA championship this season?

With the end of the regular NBA season fast approaching and the playoffs to commence soon, many basketball fans are speculating as to which teams have what it takes to win the championship trophy.

Golden State Warriors

The current odds for the Warriors to be the NBA champs are 4 to 7. Last season the Warriors finished the regular season with a record setting 73 wins. Currently sitting in the top spot of the Western Conference, the team as of now has 52 wins. Kevin Durant joined the team this year but has recently been benched due to injury. While their last three games have results in losses, many still expect the team to be the obvious favorite from the West.

San Antonio Spurs

While the Spurs are currently sitting in second behind Golden State, don't count them out. The team has a long record of consistent winning seasons. With odds now of 7 to 1, many think the Spurs can take the top seed of the playoffs. However, others are concerned that with some key players sustaining injuries, the team might drop off. Recently Kawhi Leonard was out following the concussion protocol and LaMArcus Aldridge has been experiencing minor heart arrhythmia.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Leading the Eastern Conference at this writing is the Cavs. Last year's champions, the current odds for the Cavaliers to have a repeat championship are 9 to 5. This team has made it through the seasons without significant changes to their roster. Many expect at the least the Cavs should win the Eastern Conference.

With a month still left until the playoffs begin, basketball fans can also experience their favorite game with basketball themed slot machine games at paypal casino. Whether it is the thick of the playoff run or the offseason, basketball themed slot machine games can provide fans with some court action anytime.
