Chicago Blackhawks vs. Los Angeles Kings

Where to Watch: NBC
The home team sets off the season at home following their championship season. The Kings start their season against the Blackhawks. L.A. went 40-27 in 2012, but they pulled out the win over the New Jersey Devils in the Stanley Cup Final to crown themselves champions. The Blackhawks went 45-26 in 2011-212 which was only good for fourth place in a tough Central division.
New Jersey Devils vs. New York Islanders
Time: 7 p.m. ET
No Station Televising
The Eastern Conference champs set their season off against last year's worse team in the Atlantic division. It's the Devils vs. Islanders. The Devils were fourth in the Atlantic with a 48-28 record. The Islanders were 34-37 in 2012.
Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Philadelphia Flyers
Time: 3 P.M. ET
Where to Watch: NBC, RDS2
The Penguins finished 2012 second in the Atlantic division at 51-26 and 108 points right behind the New York Rangers. The Flyers, well, they were right behind them in third place at 47-26 and 103 points.
Ottawa Senators vs. Winnipeg Jets
Time: 3 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: CBC, RDS
Ottawa was the second place team in the Northeast division in the league. They finished the season 41-31 with 92 points. They face a Jets team that struggled last season, but they finished two games over .500. The Jets were 37-35 and 84 points.
New York Rangers vs. Boston Bruins
Time: 7 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: NHLN-US, MSG, NESN
The evening session starts off with the Bruins facing the Atlantic Division champs, Rangers. Both teams finished back-to-back in the standings with the Bruins finishing just .5 games behind the Rangers. The Rangers were 51-24, while the Bruins went 51-25.
Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Montreal Canadiens
Time: 7 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: CBS, RDS
Toronoto wrapped their season up 35-27 for fourth in the Northeast. They face a Canadiens team that finished right behind them in the same division with a 31-35 record.
Washington Senators vs. Tampa Bay Lighting
Time: 7 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: CSN-DC, SUN
The 2011-2012 Southeast's 2nd place team, Senators, take on the third place Lightning Washington finished their season 42-32, while the Lightning were 38-36.
