Justin Sellers is Dodger Arrested After Chase Over the Weekend

Justin Sellers of the Los Angeles Dodgers was arrested over the weekend after a repeated history of reckless driving. The 26-year-old was caught and arrested on Saturday after multiple successful getaways, however, this one didn't finish as he had hoped..

According to Sacramento CBS, Sellers had escaped from police numerous times, and he wasn't in a car when getting his stuntman on out in the streets of California. He had been doing these reckless acts for a couple of months now.

"There's probably been three other times that we've chased him," said West Sacramento Police Department Lt. Tod Sockman and apparently, people in the neighborhood did not hesitate to call the cops every time they saw the Dodger infielder carelessly driving and endangering their lives.

Sellers is one of many infielders on this Dodgers team trying to get a starting role and become a part of the everyday lineup. He made his debut in 2011, played in 36 games and posted a .203 batting average with one home run in 13 RBI. He saw less action in 2012 playing in only 19 games and, as a result, his production slipped getting nine hits in 50 at bats.

Sellers is one of the latest MLB players caught after being reckless behind a wheel or a motor. For some reason, players love driving recklessly. At least Sellers didn't get a DWI or DUI, that we know of. Guys like Miguel Cabrera and Shin-Soo Choo are two stars who had brushes with the authorities for drinking and driving.

The good news was nobody was injured while Sellers was out practice his stunts as civilians went unharmed.
