Atletico Madrid forward Radamel Falcao has hit out at suggestions he made contact with Real Madrid over a summer move, with the Chelsea target saying nothing has been decided over his future.
Falcao, one of the most prolific striker's in Europe, has been constantly linked with a move away from Atletico, with Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid thought to be the three teams fighting it out for his signature.
There were suggestions that Real had already come to a pre-contract agreement with Falcao over a move at the end of the season, with Atletico resigned to losing their best player.
Reports in Spain also said Falcao was spotted having a meal with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, while travelling with Real superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for the Ballon d'Or ceremony.
Falcao, however, completely rubbished both reports. "It's all a lie," Falcao told Spanish TV channel Antena 3. "Recently all kind things are coming out about me.
"All that about me eating with Florentino is false. So is the story that I travelled to the Ballon d'Or with Cristiano."
Falcao, who has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain, refused to be drawn out on his future, saying he was keen to learn new languages and cultures.
"I already know a bit of Portuguese, English is really important in life and I also want to speak better," he added. "After that I'd like to learn French or Italian."
Meanwhile, Liverpool legend Kevin Keegan has expressed his astonishment at Chelsea's refusal to give Frank Lampard a new contract.
Lampard, who is increasingly close to overcoming Bobby Tambling's all-time goalscoring record for Chelsea, is expected to leave the club in the summer with L.A. Galaxy his most likely destination.
"Like most people, I don't get it," Keegan told The Sun. "You begin to think there must be something else going on that we don't know about.
"Lampard's 34, so I certainly wouldn't be giving him a three-year contract if I was manager.
"But if he wanted a one-year rolling deal or something like that, for me it's a no-brainer.
"Liverpool gave Steven Gerrard a long contract with a view to making him an ambassador for the club -- and I think many people feel it should have been the same with Lampard at Chelsea.
"The clubs think differently, quite obviously, but people will be queuing up to sign Lampard.
"Make no mistake about it, no one is going to be offering him a three or four-year deal.
"The best way to do it is to give a one-year deal, then either the player or club can move on if they're not happy."
Lampard is also interesting the likes of Manchester United, Monaco, Lazio, Juventus, Fiorentina and PSG.
