2013 Super Bowl Schedule Ravens vs. 49ers Time, Date, Where to Watch

Jan 22, 2013 01:23 PM EST

Good thing the NFL gives fans two weeks to get their plans together for the Super Bowl. This year, the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers will have the entire world watching as they meet for Super Bowl XLVII for the final NFL game of the season.

Before we continue going, check out what you have to do and where you have to be in order to watch the biggest sporting event of the year.

Date: Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013

Time: 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT

Where to Watch: CBS

Not too many people are happy about CBS broadcasting the game. You can always watch it on mute or join us here for a live blog with our commentary the day of the big game.

This matchup is unique since it features the two teams that lost the Conference Championship games last season. The Ravens lost to the New England Patriots in while the San Francisco 49ers lost to the New York Giants. Both games went down to the wire and both the Ravens and 49ers lost in dramatic fashion.

This will be the first time the Ravens get to the Super Bowl since 2000 when they beat the Giants. The 49ers haven't been to the Super Bowl since 1995.

Also making things interesting, it will be Jim Harbaugh versus John Harbough. Jim is the 49ers' coach, while John coaches the Ravens. This is the first time in the history of the sport where two brothers coach against each other in the Super Bowl.

It will be a win-win for the Harbaugh family, though both will want to take the Lombardi Trophy home.

This will also be Ray Lewis' last game as an NFL player. Lewis announced his retired weeks ago and since then, the Ravens have yet to lose a game. The Super Bowl is supposed to be an emotional game to begin with, but expect the Ravens to be super charged as they take the field that Sunday.

The 49ers have placed all their trust on Colin Kaepernick and he proved dangerous as he relied on his arm to get past the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship game. Known for his ability to scramble, Kaepernick and the Niners caught the Falcons off guard as they focused on their passing game.

These teams possess deadly offensive weapons, but also have a defense that can stop any team from scoring.

It will be a Super Bowl you will not want to miss.
