It's an Eastern Conference battle as the New York Rangers battle the Philadelphia Flyers in the first full week of the hockey season that skated off on Saturday. Check out the live stream as the puck will drop at 7 p.m. ET.

So far it's been a tough one for the Flyers. They are winless in this shortened season and that of course isn't good news for the team. If anything, in a 42-game season, losing the first three games could be very costly.

The Flyers are 0-3 and recently suffered a 3-0 loss to the New Jersey Devils who are sitting atop of the Atlantic divsion. They lost their season opener to the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-1 and then dropped the following match against the Buffalo Sabres 5-2.

The Rangers are doing just slightly better than than Flyers getting off to a 1-2 start in 2013. They dropped their season opener to the Boston Bruins 3-1 and were then crushed by the Penguins 6-3.

New York then turned it up against the Bruins in their second home game of the year and beat them in a close one 4-3.

This is a big game for the Flyers, though the first four games in a season won't completely ruin the rest of their season, it would't be good news to drop to an 0-4 start in that division. As for the Rangers, a second win will get them back to .500 and could bump them to second in third in the Atlantic.
