WWE News: Brock Lesnar Breaks Vince McMahon's Pelvis On Monday Night Raw, Trish Stratus To Enter Hall of Fame

WWE Monday Night Raw took the momentum from the Royal Rumble pay-per-view over the weekend and just kept things going.

The show featured Raw Roulette as well as Brock Lesnar in action. The former UFC champion made headlines as well when he signed a two-year contract extension with WWE, taking him through WrestleMania 31 with the company. There were rumors he almost signed with the UFC again as Dana White tried to get Lesnar vs Fedor Emelianenko at Cowboys Stadium, but it fell through.

Now Lesnar will be around the WWE until 2015. Lesnar was successful in UFC, but after losing in first round technical knockout in a number one contender match against Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 in December of 2011, he decided to quit that sport and re-signed with WWE. Lesnar got into it with John Cena and Triple H at the Extreme Rules and Summerslam pay-per-view events and helped bring back some viewers to the sport.

The Raw event was a welcome show for Lesnar and it opened with CM Punk getting furious at Vince McMahon for taking his championship and giving it to the Rock on Sunday at the Royal Rumble.

McMahon interrupts and says he has proof that Punk interfered with the match. Later on in the first match with U.S. Champion Antonio Cesaro and Randy Orton, The Miz came out to referee and Orton took the win. In the straight match with Cody Rhodes and John Cena, Cena took the win and said that he was going to challenge the WWE Champion.

Later on, The Rock came out to show off as the new WWE Champion and soon after CM Punk went crazy and said that the Rock was a joke and he challenged him to a match at the Elimination Chamber.

Then finally at the end, when Vince McMahon called out Paul Heyman to fire him, Brock Lesnar came out and put Paul aside. Lesnar grabbed McMahon laid him out to end the show in great fashion.

As McMahon was about to fire Heyman, Lesnar then appeared with a blast of music to confront the head of the organization, surprising everyone in the arena since he quit last summer. Lesnar got head-to-head with the chairman and then slammed him hard onto the mat, reportedly hurting his pelvis and hip area. Heyman pleaded with Lesnar to stop, leaving everyone to wonder what will happen to the former UFC star next time he is in the ring.

The Royal Rumble was wild as well over the weekend. The 26th annual event from Phoenix at the US Airways Center had a number of historical results, including a title win by The Rock, who challenged for the WWE championship. The Rock announced his intentions way back in July at Raw 1000, with CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and John Cena all saying they would face him as the defending champion.

News also came out that Trish Stratus would be entering the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2013 and will be honored at a ceremony held at Madison Square Garden the night before Wrestlemania 29. The news hasn't been confirmed yet, but a close source to the WWE said it is a "lock" for her to get in.
