Miss Alabama Katherine Webb sure is working her new found fame as she begins her reporting career with her first assignment being the coverage of the Super Bowl for "Inside Edition". Her first day featured a media day appearance, where she managed to capture more attention than the San Francisco 49ers.

"It's so exciting and absolutely crazy at the same time. It's happened so fast. I feel like I'm living on a plane but it's a great journey," said Webb.

She was hired to interview players and coaches, but wound up being the one interviewed by other reporters.

"It's kind of funny how everything kind of lines up to me being at this point," said Webb, explaining that it all started with meeting Crimson Tide quarterback A.J. McCarron while at home in Alabama late last year.

Webb created a buzz at the BCS game when she was caught on camera and play-by-play announcer Brent Musburger enthusiastically remarked that quarterbacks "get all the good-looking women."

Since then she has working on her modeling and acting career in Los Angeles. Webb has signed on to the reality show "Celebrity Diving," plans to move to New York City to pursue a modeling career, has hired a publicist and agent, and is reportedly fielding an offer to join "Dancing with the Stars."
