The PGA Tour golf WGC-Cadillac Championship final round has started up and Tiger Woods and the leaders in Patrick Reed, Jason Dufner and Patrick Mahan tee off in the afternoon from Doral at TPC Blue Monster and Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson are still within striking distance and the rest of the tournament is streaming online from NBC and the Golf Channel.

Reed comes into the dat after leading the tournament with a four under and he had two rounds under 70, while Dufner and Mahan are two back of the leader and Woods is in fourth place with Jamie Donaldson with a one under and they are three shots back to start the day. The tournament had been marred by some rough weather over the first two days, but Woods was able to overcome that for his most complete day on tour this year and he finished with a 66 after being over 70 in the first two rounds and now he is fully within striking distance of the top of the leaderboard as he gets ready to tee off.

Woods has had a very rough start to the year and this is his chance to turn things around before the Masters and he has the chance to defend his title after winning this last season. LAst year Woods won three times ahead of the Masters, but this time around he has had a rough go and that started with the Farmers, as he finished in 80th and missed the secondary cut and that was at Torrey Pines, a place he is comfortable and he wo the Insurance Open last season and then his next tournament was Dubai and he finished in 41st place there. The Honda Classic was a bit better, but ended up having to pull out on the final day with a back injury and that nearly kept him out of competing at Doral.

Woods comes into the final day of the tournament with a chance to win for the first time on tour this season and he had put up a score of 65 at PGA National last week and now he can continue his solid play from yesterday with a good showing on Sunday. Woods and Dufner were sharp on the day and he was very good on the greens and hit 14 of them and he only had 25 putts on the day and that was one of his best showings and it came after the amazing put he had from over 90 feet the previous day and now he has the chance to repeat as champion at the WGC at Doral.

Woods went six under 66 on the day for the tournament and now he is back in the mix and it came after he had to marathon 26 holes on Friday and it gives him some momentum after playing so poorly to start the season. He is coming up on the Masters and the Arnold Palmer Invitational and he won that last year and will be looking for a repeat even without a win here.
