Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has again hinted at his interest in joining Chelsea, while the Blues are being offered a move for Steffan Kiessling of Bayer Leverkusen.
Fellaini has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for quite a while now, with widespread reports suggesting the big Belgian could finally be set to leave Goodison Park in the summer, with Chelsea thought to be the frontrunners.
The 25-year-old admitted he would be open to a move to Chelsea, with the chance of playing in the Champions League the priority.
"Am I interested in Chelsea? It's normal, right? I've never played in the Champions League!
"I'm happy here, I know everyone, I get along with my teammates. It's my home. On the other hand, I also want to take the next step. Fate will decide.
"Everton paid £20 million ($30 million) and do not want to sell me for nothing.
"If a big club wants me, they will have to pay the price."
Everton are still in the hunt for a Champions League place and lie six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham, although their chances of qualifying were seriously hurt after going down 2-1 to Norwich Saturday.
Chelsea have been in freefall in recent weeks, and their own Champions League spot is far from assured, after suffering a disappointing defeat at the hands of Manchester City.
Meanwhile, the Blues have been linked with another striker, with German international Kiessling looking to manufacture a move to the English Premier League.
The 29-year-old is set on leaving Leverkusen at the end of the year, and is agents have offered their client to the Blues, according to Metro.
Leverkusen are resigned to losing their forward, who has also been linked with moves to Borussia Dortmund and Dynamo Kiev, and will ask for a fairly reasonable £6 million ($9 million) fee.
Chelsea have made Radamel Falcao their priority target in the summer, but might have to look at other options if the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid or Paris Saint Germain beat them out for the Colombian's signature.
Fernando Torres' future is up in the air and a return to Atletico has been mooted, although the Blues will have the option of using Romelu Lukaku next season with the striker currently in brilliant form for West Brom, where he is on loan.
