Sevilla will look to overturn a 2-1 deficit when they host Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the Copa Del Rey semifinals.
Real Madrid have already booked their place in the final after their overwhelming win over Barcelona at the Camp Nou, and now it will be up to Sevilla to ensure that the summit clash does not end up being a Madrid derby.
"There are two elements to this game," Sevilla manager Unai Emery was quoted as saying by Marca. "First of all there's the game. The idea is to try to live up to our ambitions, and it won't be easy because we are up against a great team.
"We'll try to impose our playing style for the majority of the game. And the other aspect is motivation. We're still motivated on every level, but we need to make sure that we don't become over-excited.
"It's something that can be positive and negative at the same time. There has to be just the right amount of motivation so we don't lose our balance and cause ourselves problems. External euphoria is positive, but I need to keep it in check."
Emery revealed club president Jose Maria Del Nido was desperate for Sevilla to lift the Copa Del Rey this season. "From the first day that I arrived he's talked with me about the cup, and he brings the subject up on a daily basis," he added. "He's always optimistic and hopeful about it and I pass this on to the players."
Atletico do not have a great away record and manager Diego Simeone believes both teams have a fifty-fifty chance of going through to the final.
"We're up against a great team," Simeone told the club's official website. "There's a fifty percent chance for both of us. We'll approach the game as we usually do and attempt to compete as we always have."
Both Atletico and Sevilla do not have any new injury worries with some of the first-teamers who were rested for the league clashes at the weekend expected to return to the starting lineup.
