No. 2 seeded Louisville Cardinals face the No. 7 Villanova Wildcats in the quarterfinals of the Big East conference tournament. Don't miss the action of a must watch meeting as these two schools hook up for an epic battle. Check out the live stream available at the end of the article.

Tipoff is at 7 p.m. ET and it will be the first time Louisville steps on the court since defeating the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 73-57 in the final regular season game. That was less than a week ago, so they might be a bit rusty.

Though Louisville presents itself as the No. 2 seed in the tournament, they have to be very careful with Villanova. This No. 7 seed is coming off a huge victory over St. John's Red Storm, where they won 66-53.

Also, the last time these guys met, the one and only time this season, Villanova walked out victorious. They beat Louisville 73-64 back in January.

However, this matchup will not be in Villanova, they will be playing on neutral territory as Madison Square Garden hosts the Big East tournament.

When looking at Villanova's stats, opponents might not be impressed. They rank beyond triple digits in points, rebounds, assist and field goal percentage per game. The best they do amongst teams in the nation is rebound and they are ranked 101st averaging 36 boards per game.

Compare that to Louisville's 45th ranked points per game (73), 41st in rebounding (38) and 44th in assists (15) per game. The one stat Louisville has struggled in, field goal percentage connecting on just 45 percent of their shots.
