Quinn Mend Relationship With Tebow After Harsh Comments

The critical comments unrestricted free agent Brady Quinn said about Denver Bronco's starting quarterback Tebow was taken back after it was released by GQ magazine on Tuesday. Although has roused contention among fans, the two Broncos quarterbacks actually are really friendly according to Tyler Hasen, the former University of Colorado quarterback who works several times per week with them.

"They are really friendly," Hansen told NFL.com. "They have a professional relationship, and they're really nice. Both those guys are great guys. I think every person they meet and talk to (thinks) they're going to be standup guys."

Quinn twitted that the comments he made did not reflect his opinion of Tebow and he reached out to Tebow directly "to clear this up." He said, "I apologize to anyone who feels I was trying to take anything away from our team's or Tim's success this season."

In the article titled "The year of Magical Stinking: An Oral History of Tebow Time," Quinn was quoted as attributing to "a lot of luck" the team's quarter-final finish last season. He also added that fans were the reason Tebow passed up Quinn in the line for starting quarterback. Quinn also said that the fellow Christian's way of expressing faith doesn't "seem very humble to me."

Tebow has won seven of his first eight starts and led the Broncos to the playoffs for the first time since 2005 and they beat Pittsburg for the first time.
