Arsenal will look to be the third English team to make it to the semifinals of the NextGen Series, when they taken on a dangerous CSKA Moscow side in the last-eight of the NextGen Series at the Emirates stadium.
Chelsea and Aston Villa have already qualified for the last-four of the European youth tournament, with the Gunners youngsters aiming to join them.
CSKA Moscow, though, are tough opponents and one of the favorites for the tournament, having already beaten the likes of Chelsea, Ajax and PSV.
"They have learnt (during the competition) that you have to be able to adapt," coach Terry Burton told the club's official website. "They have found that football intelligence is not always about playing the game in a certain way but about being able to adapt to play in a certain way.
"Most of the time we have done that well. The players have come up against some quality teams, and hopefully one of the things they have got out of it has been to learn the different ways that teams can hurt you if you don't do things right.
"Sometimes you just have to stay in games, which certainly was the case in our last match (against Inter Milan). It was a game where the team who either made a mistake or did something a bit different would win, and fortunately we managed to do that (through Nico Yennaris' long-range winner)."
Arsenal fans will get to see some of the brightest young talents coming through the system, and veteran midfielder Mikel Arteta believes it will be a great experience for the youngsters to play in the Emirates stadium.
"If they can get a good crowd and people are supportive of the young lads, for them it's going to be a very good experience," he said.
"Playing for a club like Arsenal and in that stadium doesn't happen every day so they will be very lucky if that's the case. It's something to enjoy.
"In a competition like that, they can see how good they are compared to the other teams in Europe. I think it's a very good point to see where they are.
"They've reached the quarterfinals already and this means that Arsenal are heading in the right direction."
