Every great sports video game finds a way to improve the product throughout the years. From the Madden football series, courtesy of EA Sports, to the 2k Sports basketball and baseball games, each year there's a new improvement added to give it that realistic feel.

The same can be said about the Tiger Woods PGA Tour series, also courtesy of EA Sports, has excelled in implementing various changes since the games debut in 1998.

The new Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 only adds to the lasting tradition of bringing quality gaming to your household.

This year breaks new ground with the addition of new variables, game modes and golfers to make for a far better golfing experience than its predecessors.

According to BleacherReport.com, this year's edition allows players to play in all majors-the Masters, the U.S. Open, the British Open and the PGA Championship. Also the game has added a new cool feature that will allow players to face off with the legends of the sport, dating back to the 1930s.

IGN.com notes other interesting features that include a day/night cycle that lets you play anytime from early morning to nighttime, 20 on-disc courses out of the box, Country Club tweaks like a higher member cap and a club chat feature, and 35 total licensed golfers, including female golfers from the LPGA tour.

IGN.com also noted that the folks at EA Sports still have a close working relationship with Woods, as he often voices his input on the game.

"He definitely still works with us," says EA Tiburon producer Mike DeVault. "Every year he's always had at least one or two with us. He's always providing feedback, especially when we started with the Kinect and Move [last year]. We actually used him quite a bit for the Kinect and Move implementation."

Woods has recently regained the world No.1 ranking after winning three times this season, with his latest coming at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, winning it for the ninth time in his career.
