The Los Angeles Lakers have had various injury complications to fall upon them this season, and as if their playoff chances aren't hard enough, now the team has to worry about an injured backcourt of Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash.

According to ESPN, Bryant has a bone spur in his left foot and will be evaluated by a foot specialist when the team travels to Sacramento Friday before taking on the Kings on Saturday. Bryant has admitted that his foot has been "bothering him for a while," according to a team spokesman.

"Inflamed on me," Bryant told Yahoo! Sports while leaving the BMO Harris Bradley Center with the use of a crutch after Thursday night's 113-103 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. "I'll be all right."

Nash, in the meanwhile, is lingering from hip spasms that he said he suffered during Monday's loss to the Golden State Warriors. He played through the pain in the Lakers game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, but still was feeling discomfort.

"It actually happened at Golden State and my hamstrings really tightened up, and then in Minnesota I was compensating for the hamstrings and got my hip spasming," Nash said.

The Lakers have a slight hold on the eighth seed in the Western Conference and now have an opportunity to finish their four-game road trip with a 2-2 record.
