The Los Angeles Lakers have had to deal with a series of injuries, but after Steve Nash was forced to leave Saturday's game with the Sacramento Kings in just two minutes of play, the team isn't certain how much the veteran point guard has left for the remainder of the season.

According to Serena Winters of Lakers Nation, coach Mike D'Antoni said that he doesn't expect Nash to suit up Tuesday when the Lakers take on the Dallas Mavericks.

Nash is averaging 12.7 points and 6.7 assists per game on the season, but has missed a whopping 50 games.

Even though D'Antoni wouldn't officially rule Nash out of the returning by the playoffs, the situation as become all the more hectic for the Lakers, especially with the loss of Metta World Peace for the remainder of the season.

However, World Peace believes the Lakers will be fine without his presence for the rest of the season. In an interview with 95.7 The Game San Francisco with Bucher and Towny, World Peace discussed his injury and how he feels the Lakers will fair without him.

"I think while I'm out, I think we'll be OK. The best team is always going to win, the best team on any given night."

World Peace went on to say that the team had dealt with injuries of players with a more significant role than his, and it's because of that he believes the Lakers will manage to hold on to the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

"I think that anytime that one of the big five is out, when Steve was out, we won a couple games. When Kobe was out, we won. When Pau was out, we won. With the exception of Dwight - Dwight was probably one of the only players where, when he was out, we couldn't really sustain it."
