Baltimore Orioles vs. Tampa Bay Rays Score: Play-by-Play, Lineups and Results of Ball Game

The Tampa Bay Rays take on the Baltimore Orioles at 3:10 p.m. ET. If you can't watch the game, at least enjoy the score with play-by-play and updates of all the action. This will be the rubber game of this series as both have split the first two of the season opener. Check out the lineup and pitching matchup of the game as well as a link that will get you the live updates.

The Orioles blew a four-run lead on Wednesday and saw the Rays win it on a walk-off home run by Matt Joyce. The Orioles couldn't capitalize on having tied the game in the top of the ninth off reliever sensation, Fernando Rodney. Chris Davis keeps tearing the face off the baseball as he smacked his second home run of the year, but the O's lost 8-7.

The day before, the O's jumped all over David Price and the Rays pitching staff as the knocked in seven runs again, this time, they were able to win 7-4, spoiling their A.L. East rival's Opening Day.

These games are important since many are speculating that the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox won't be in the fight for the division this year. The Orioles shocked many as they wound up taking the Wild Card spot finishing second in the east in 2013. Now the Rays, who were third last year, want to get back to the postseason.

On the hill today for the Orioles, they have Miguel Gonzalez who stepped up big late in the season as Baltimore was in the middle of their playoff run. For the Rays, they give the ball to Roberto Hernandez.

Though it's early, the winner of this game takes the first series of the year and has the upper league in the battle for the A.L. East.
