It will be pitching and finnesse against power pitching as Buehrle's overpowering days are behind him and Myers attempts to rebound from a 2012 season that saw him make entrances from the bullpen.

It's early, so the Blue Jays don't have to panic, but they have only scored a total of three runs through the first game of the year. Jose Reyes got his first hit of the year on Wednesday and Jose Bautista did what he does best and hit a game-tying home run late in the game to tie the ballgame up.

The Blue Jays had a chance to win the game yesterday and tie the series, but they couldn't take advantage of extra innings as their pitching betrayed them. Sergio Santos gave up the game-winning home run to Mark Reynolds in the top of the 11th inning.

It's too early for the Blue Jays fans to worry, especially after Brandon Morrow gave them six solid innings of baseball. R.A. Dickey simply needs to get more time with his new catchers. The offense will eventually wake up and cause chaos. So even if they get swept, the Blue Jays are full of hope in 2013.
