The Angels were retired in order in the Top of the 1st though the ball traveled well out of Aybar's bat and then Pujols lined out to short.

The Los Angeles Angels face the Texas Rangers in Arlington Ballpark for their 2013 Home Opener. Don't miss the live coverage of this game as the Angels will arrive to Texas with Josh Hamilton and a powerful offensive entourage. If you can't watch the game, follow MLB Gameday's live updates of the game with play-by-play and stats from this game.

We'll personally bring you a live blog of the first inning in case Josh Hamilton steps up to the plate. If anything, Hamilton is surely expected to lead of the top of the second inning as he will be batting clean up. In order Hamilton to step up to the plate, they will need somebody to get on base. Check out the starting lineup for the road team in this game.

1. Trout LF
2. Aybar SS
3. Pujols 1B
4. Hamilton RF
5. Trumbo DH
6. Kendrick 2B
7. Callaspo 3B
8. Iannetta C
9. Bourjos.
Pitcher- Jason Vargas

The Angels bolstered their lineup after losing Torii Hunter to the Detroit Tigers. While the bottom of their order could use some help, having Peter Bourjos batting last adds speed late in the lineup. When it turns over, Trout could find a man on second base very frequently.

For the Rangers, they bounced back from an 8-2 loss to the Houston Astros in Opening Day. Yu Darvish was almost perfect and the Rangers bats woke up when they needed them the most. The Rangers will be at home where they lost the A.L. Wild Card game to the Baltimore Orioles last season.

Here's the lineup they will send to the play against the Angels' Vargas:

1. Kinsley 2B
2. Andrus SS
3. Berkman DH
4. Beltre 3B
5. Cruz RF
6. Murphy LF
7. Pierzynski C
8. Gentry CF
9. Moreland 1B

First pitch is scheduled at 2:10 p.m. ET, but if you miss the early action, you can always catch up in the scoring summary.
