The 2013 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament is coming to a close as the Louisville Cardinals face off against the Connecticut Huskies for the National Championship which is set to be played today, Tuesday. Check out the time of the game as only one can walk out with the championship title.

The Lady Cardinals can bring another basketball tournament title to Louisville. They have had a magical tournament run and if they have one more upset in their bag of tricks, then they can claim the NCAA National Championship. 

Louisville was the No. 5 seed got past Purdue (4) in the second round beating them 76-63. Then Louisville moved on and barely got past Brittney Griner and the No. 1 seeded Baylor Bears 82-81. The No. 2 ranked Tennessee Volunteers fell victim to the Cardinals 86--78 in the Elite Eight and then Louisville put No. 2 California Golden Bears away 64-57 in the Final Four to earn a chance at the National Championship. 

This matchup might as well be the story of David and Goliath. Louisville gets ready to face the Connecticut Huskies, which, led by Geno Auriemma, have become one of the more consistent powerhouses in Women's NCAA Basketball. 

They are always expected to perform and be in the tournament until the end. The Lady Huskies have breezed by their competition beginning with Idaho (16) whom they beat 105-37. Vanderbilt (8) followed with a 77-44 loss. The Huskies then beat Maryland (4) 76-50 followed by a victory over Kentucky (2) 83-53. In the Final Four, the Huskies then destroyed No. 1 Notre Dame 83-65.

For Louisville, this is another game in which they are underdogs and for the Huskies, it could be the toughest team they've had to face all tournament long.
