On the hill for the Orioles, Wei-Ying Chen who is is 0-1, but has pitched well enough to have a perfect 2-0 record. In his last start, Chen took the loss against the Boston Red Sox. he went 6.1 innings giving up three earned runs. Chen boasts a 3.75 ERA and could give the Yankees trouble.
The Orioles took Saturday's game, 5-3, in a game that went down to the wire as the Yankees attempted to rally late in the game. Darren O'Day ran into trouble as the Yankees had the go-ahead run at the plate. O'Day was able to hold the game as Jim Johnson eventually came on to get the save.
The Yankees took the first game of the series 5-2 as the defense played the difference in this one. The Yankees turned a triple play to end an Orioles' rally. Adam Jones committed a 3-run error that pretty much cost the Orioles the game.
The Yankees are 5-5 while the Orioles are 6-5 in 2013.
