J.J. Hickson could be taking his talents to South Beach alongside his former teammate LeBron James of the Miami Heat. According to Yahoo Sports, Hickson has been bought out by the Sacramento Kings and after clearing waivers, will be available to sign with another team.
ESPN's Brian Windhorst suggested that the Miami Heat would be a natural fit given Hickson's two seasons with James on the Cleveland Cavaliers. "Very close w/ LeBron," Windhorst tweeted.
Although Hickson plays power forward and the Heat's biggest need is at center, another big man coming off the bench would certainly help during a long playoff run.
Hickson was averaging 4.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game prior to his release by the Kings.
