Tipoff is just minutes away---- Over in Miami the Heat are down by three to the Bucks.

The New York Knicks play the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs. Check the score, play-by-play in the live blog of this matchup as tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET. This is perfect if you forgot to tune into the game or are simply stuck where the game is unavailable.

The Knicks have the advantage. The are up 1-0 in the series and have the 2013 Scoring Champ and Sixth Man of the Year in Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith. Though they are up in the series, they will have to come out charging from the gates as we can expect this veteran Celtics team to know how important it is to tie this series. The Celtics will surely give the Knicks hell if they slack off.

In Game 1, the Knicks struggled from the floor hitting 40 percent of their shots. Anthony started the game on fire, but then cooled off in the first half. He began the game 4-4 with 10 points and went on to finish the have with just two buckets and about 10 shots missed. Kenyon Martin gave the Knicks a shot in the arm off the bench as he finished with a team high nine rebounds in the first meeting.

It will be key for the Knicks to get consistent support off the bench as Tyson Chandler is still working his way to his starter role. Available today for the Knicks is Pablo Prigioni, who missed Game 1 due to ankle issues. He has great vision and plays with a blue collar mentality.

For the Celtics, the key will be the turnovers. They were killed in the second half of Game 1 because they couldn't keep their possessions. They finished the fourth quarter with a historic low, eight points and 25 in total in the second half. Who know what would have been of Game 1 had the Celtics showed up playing their usual aggressive basketball in years past.

They are without Rajon Rondo and their three-point shooter, Ray Allen, is in Miami. Jeff Green and Avery Bradley made solid contributions in Game 1 scoring 43 points combined. With a similar performance and a lack of turnovers, the Celtics could make this a series once again.
