NBA Playoffs TV Schedule: ESPN Airs Game 3's on Friday, No NBA Games Today

Don't bother turning on your television and tuning into TNT or NBA TV tonight. Don't flip onto TBS thinking one of the games went into overtime and your team is playing on another channel. There is no NBA action on Thursday as all eight teams will be traveling and getting ready for Game 3.

All series are tied 1-1, so this will make people really want to tune it. The Golden State Warriors completed the trend of Wednesday that saw all teams down 0-1, tie their respective series in Game 2. The Memphis Grizzlies continue to present themselves as true potential Western Conference finalists. The Miami Heat looked like champions as they easily put away the Chicago Bulls in Game 2 and the New York Knicks were once again dominant after slacking off in Game 1 against the Indiana Pacers.

When Do Playoffs Resume?
Tune in Friday and the channel to watch is ESPN. The first game will be Heat vs. Bulls at 8 p.m. ET. Don't change the channel because following this game, the Warriors host the Spurs at 10:30 p.m. ET

Both of these games have created their own sort of aura. When you think Heat/Bulls, a physical matchup comes to mind. Some have even used the word "violent" to describe the way Game 2 was played. It's simple, these two teams have built their reputations in the NBA in recent years and they really dislike each other. Call them powerhouses if you will, although the Bulls finished in fifth place this year. Realistically, the Bulls aren't a threat to the Heat, but they will make Miami play hard.

Over in the West, the Warriors and Spurs are interesting because the Warriors have been the dominant team for about 100 of the 106 minutes played in this series through two games. The Warriors aren't supposed to win this series, everybody knows that, but with the first two games over, the Warriors look like the better team and their offense looks unstoppable.

So the TV schedule for Friday: Heat vs. Bulls 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, Spurs vs. Warriors 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN

Do not miss the chance to see a fight break out in Chicago, while the Warriors will attempt to once again pour it on the Spurs in Game 3.
