French Open Live Stream: Watch Free Online with Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova Set for Second Round Action

Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic will be the main draws on day five of the French Open as the two superstars look to keep their semifinal date by progressing in their respective second round matches.

Spaniard Nadal had a big scare in his opening round match against Daniel Brands, losing the first set, but eventually finding a way in the next three to take a four-set victory to setup a second round meeting with Martin Klizan of Slovakia.

Djokovic was also tested by Belgian David Goffin, with the world number one having to bring out his 'A' game to prevail in three sets 7-6 (5), 6-4, 7-5.

"It was a long day. Conditions were quite tricky," Djokovic said after the match. "But it was the same adjustment for me and my opponent and for many players. It was a difficult day because we have been waiting for hours and hours.

"I think I warmed up five or six times, and, finally got to the court. In these conditions obviously, as I said, you need to adjust your game and tactics, because it's quite different than comparing to the conditions when it's dry and sunny.

"Heavy balls, bad bounces, it's quite cold. So, you need to step into the court and try to hit the ball. He did really well at the start, and throughout the match he was playing really nice tennis from baseline. It was a tough match.

"I needed to fight all the way through every set, and I served well when I needed to and played my best tennis when it was most important."

Djokovic will face Guido Pella of Argentina at the Philippe Chatrier - Nadal plays in the Suzanne Lenglen court - and the Serb admitted he did not know too much about his opponent.

"I don't know much, but I know he's one of the specialists on clay, and that he is a new player that is coming up," Djokovic added. And he made some surprising wins. He won against my countrymen actually last week I think, (Janko) Tipsarevic and (Victor) Troicki back to back.

"He must possess a good quality. I'm going to have to prepare myself and be on top of my game, because, you know, especially in the opening rounds you're playing players that have nothing to lose, you know, so I'm sure that he's going to be very motivated to play his best."

In the women's section Maria Sharapova continues her bid to defend her Roland Garros title with a match against Canadian Eugenie Bouchard while Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka is scheduled to take on German Annika Beck.
