Here are some of the arrests in the sports world from over the weekend and Monday:
--Chad Johnson, Former NFL Player
Johnson was already in trouble before his latest arrest and he was in court in Florida responding to a case when he was about to finalize a deal when the diva wideout made a mistake.
According to TMZ, the judge asked Johnson if he was satisfied with his attorney, after which he slapped his lawyer on the butt playfully. The two sides were about to finalize the punishment for Johnson, which would not have been very serious, and after that the judge kicked him out of the courtroom and ordered him 30 days in jail and an extension of his probation.
--Greg Dent, Florida State WR
Dent was arrested for felony sexual assault after trying to force himself on a friend that he has known for years. According to Deadspin, they have been friends for years and the report says that the woman let him borrow her car, cooks diner and stays with him and after doing so on Saturday, he tried to force himself on her after she said 'no'.

At approximately 3:30 a.m. Sunday, the victim awoke to Dent trying to kiss her on the lips. The victim told Dent "no" but Dent became "increasingly forceful" trying to kiss her. The victim then bit Dent's upper lip and he jumped out of the bed.
Within a few minutes, Dent returned to the bedroom naked and laid in the same direction as the victim. Dent began touching the victim and was able to pull off her shorts and underwear as she struggled to resist. The victim continued to resist, eventually grabbing Dent's hair with one hand and punching him in the head with the other.
The victim also tightened her legs as Dent tried to pull her legs apart. The report states that on two occasions, Dent was able to partially penetrate the victim.
The struggle continued until Dent and the victim fell on the floor. The victim was able to grab her belongings and run out of Dent's apartment. She reported the incident to the Tallahassee Police Department on Sunday.
--Adam Jones, Bengals CB
Jones, who has a history of issues, was arrested after he struck a woman at a bar, but according to eye witnesses and Jones himself, he was acting in self defense.
He wrote on Twitter: "Just got arrested for protecting myself, I will not let this break me or change what I have work so hard for. . . ."
"If it was anybody other than Adam Jones, they would have investigated it," His agent, Peter Schaffer said of the police. "If it was anybody other than Adam Jones, they wouldn't have arrested him."
