Fans will catch a sneak peak of what the new National Football League uniforms, outfitted by Nike Inc., will look like in the upcoming "Madden '13" game. Electronic Arts just released the first screenshot of a team jersey, which were debuted by Nike and the NFL on April 3rd.
The Facebook image shows a purple Ravens jersey with a caption underneath encouraging fans to post their feedback on the uniforms. The screenshot provides a zoomed-in perspective, displaying the details of the recently debuted sports attire. A different image is shown for the padding, collar, and paint mesh in addition to a full view of the uniform's top and bottom pieces.
So far, more than 1,000 fans have "Liked" the image since it was uploaded on April 5th. "Stay tuned for more to come!" it read under the screenshot, hinting that fans will be seeing some new threads soon.
The "Madden" franchise is one of the most popularized sports franchises to hit the gaming industry, with "Madden '12" selling 1.4 million copies in its first week. Recently, publisher EA has been under fire from anti-gay activists who criticized their inclusion of same-sex relationships in titles such as "Mass Effect 3." The gaming company was also voted "Worst Company In America" by readers of The Consumerist, beating out runner-up Bank of America.
