Johnny Manziel is caught up in a tough situation with his autograph scandal and now that the news is getting around, some of his former teammates have been asked about it, including former Aggies star Damontre Moore, who taken by the NY Giants in this year's NFL draft.
According to Giants 101, Moore spoke about Manziel's situation, saying that people are being too hard on him and that he is dealing with a ton of attention. Moore said that some of the stories and comments have bothered him about Manziel from the media and said that he is a good guy and that he was born with great skills as a football player.
"Honestly, I don't really have any thoughts on it," Moore said when asked about the Manziel controversy. "[Manziel] is like a little brother to me, he is a really good kid. I think people are being a little too hard on him.
Manziel can't avoid the spotlight anymore even if he wanted to and after some off the field issues, everyone in college football is looking at the star and now he has even more attention after an ESPN The Magazine article was written about him and this comes as he will appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Manziel has received plenty of attention for his antics, including partying, getting thrown out of parties, his life on Twitter, sitting courtside at NBA games, going to a casino and much more. Manziel has been under the spotlight all year after becoming the first freshman to win the Heisman and after he was asked to leave the Manning Passing Academy for being hangover allegedly, he had to put those fires out as well.
The stories detail his life on and off the field as well as how things have changed for him at home with his family and things that he must do now that he is well-known, including bringing security and dealing with fans everywhere he goes.

Manziel has had quite the year since winning the Heisman trophy as a freshman for the first time in history and although he made headlines for that accomplishment months ago, the only press he seems to get leading up to the upcoming season is about partying and other off the field antics, including getting tossed out of a University of Texas frat party.
According to ESPN.com, Manziel was spotted at a Texas party and a video was posted on the website SB Nation of him getting yelled at and thrown out of the party with one person screaming "get the f*ck out". The SB Nation Texas blog "Burnt Orange Nation" posted the video and some of the people at the party posted pictures and messages on Twitter about him being at the party and also being thrown out. The website said that Manziel was quickly tossed from the party after he showed up and he also was seen in a pink polo shirt covered in beer after someone possibly spilled one on him and he just missed getting hit by a can on his way out as well.
Following the video of the party, pictures were posted of Manziel at another party in Austin over the weekend wearing a Tim Tebow jersey from the New York Jets and partying at a fraternity daytime event. Manziel tweeted out "just win baby" and something about "double digit wins" and championships in response to his Texas party antics and clearly he is continuing the behavior that he has done all year after winning the Heisman, including when he was seen at basketball games, gambling and partying.
