Bulls NBA Rumors: Anthony Tolliver Likes Chicago As Charlotte Bobcats and Utah Jazz Want Free Agent, Forward Played With Timberwolves, Spurs and Atlanta Hawks

The NBA free agent market is paring down as the season gets closer to starting in the fall and there are some names left that can contribute to playoff teams, including Anthony Tolliver, who is reportedly looking at joining the Chicago Bulls.

According to SB Nation and Hoops Hype, Tolliver is looking at signing with the Bulls, Charlotte Bobcats or Utah Jazz after playing last season with the Atlanta Hawks. The forward has been in the league for five years and has played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers and San Antonio Spurs and last season he averaged 4.1 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Tolliver would be a solid veteran option for the Bulls or the other two teams and they are hoping that he can perform like he did when he was with the Warriors, averaging 2.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while playing in over 40 games for Golden State in 2009. Tolliver can play both forward positions and that gives the Bulls and the Bobcats some versatile options and after the Bobcats signed Al Jefferson and released Tyrus Thomas, they could use more depth at forward.

Tolliver won't scare any other teams and while he has shot under 40 percent of the past couple years, he could be a very solid veteran option for the teams. The 28-year-old could be a solid contributor and if Antawn Jamison signs elsewhere the Bulls can snag him.

Per Hoops Hype: "Veteran forward Anthony Tolliver has narrowed his free agent choices to three teams and is expected to finalize a deal by this weekend, one source told HoopsHype.

Tolliver, 28, played last season for the Atlanta Hawks, where he averaged 4.1 ppg and 2.5 rpg. He's currently No. 7 in HoopsHype's free agent power forward rankings."
