NY Mets vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Live Stream: Watch Online Free Streaming MLB Action at 10:10 PM ET

The Los Angeles Dodgers are on a roll that seemingly cannot be stopped, as the team continues to win this summer and now have a 69-50 record and a 7.5 game lead in the National League West after defeating the New York Mets and Matt Harvey on Tuesday night 4-2 and now the team will try for another victory on Wednesday night.

The Dodgers have been fueled by the play of Hanley Ramirez and Yasiel Puig this summer and now they will get Ramirez back after he had been dealing with a shoulder injury that kept him out last week. Ramirez was on a tear at one point this summer and the team now will try and stretch its run from 39-8 over a span of games. The team went from last place in the division to first place and now the team looks like it will easily win the division from the Diamondbacks, who are in second place.

On Wednesday night the team will throw Chris Capuano on the mound against Dillon Gee for the Mets and he has the chance to improve his record to 5-6 with a win and he comes in with a 4.50 ERA on the season for the team. The Dodgers have had one of the most consistent offenses and pitching staffs in the league this season and he will go against Gee, who is 8-8 with a 3.82 ERA and he has been playing very well of late, with a sub-2.00 ERA in his last five starts on the season. Capuano has been on a nice stretch himself over the past six times he has pitched, as the Dodgers have won all those games and he has gone 2-0 with a 3.21 ERA over that stretch.

The Dodgers are an amazing story at this point, as the team nearly had its manager fired and the roster blown up at one point before turning things around completely. The team is ready to make a playoff run with the roster they have and they are as talented as anyone from top to bottom in the lineup. Ramirez is playing fantastic this season after coming back from his earlier injuries and the team hopes that he can keep it up when he gets back in the lineup after missing time with his shoulder.

During the time Ramirez has been hurt, Nick Punto has been very solid for the team, hitting over .450 and notching four doubles and eight RBIs over the past nine games and while Ramirez's return may mean the end of him starting, Don Mattingly will find a way to get his bat in the lineup. The team is looking to sweep the Mets for the first time at home since 2009 and that would stretch their win total over this streak to 40 games. The Dodgers could end up being the favorites out of the National League after starting off in the cellar of the west and another solid start from Capuano will help that.
