Gareth Bale Rumors: Real Madrid To Pay £86m For Transfer Deal With Tottenham Hotspur, Star Introduced Tuesday As Move Breaks Cristiano Ronaldo Record

The Gareth Bale saga appears to finally be coming to an end, as reports have the star moving to Real Madrid from Tottenham on a record transfer deal worth over $130 million.

According to Yahoo Sports, Bale will move on a record $134 million deal, which trumps the $124 million that the team previously spent on Cristiano Ronaldo. The move from the English Premier League has been rumored for months and after deals were turned down, the club finally came in and accepted the deal after wanting the max amount they could get. The season already started and now the 24-year-old will have plenty of pressure as he moves.

Bale is considered to be one of the top young players in the world and now he will move to Real Madrid to give the club two of the best players in the sport. Bale will compete for Champions League and La Liga titles, although Yahoo reports that Wales has a bad World Cup team, so he likely won't play for a World Cup. Bale's press conference is expected to be on Tuesday and while he said that he could stay at Tottenham for more time, he realized playing for Real Madrid was too good to pass up.

The report says that Bale will have a six-year contract at $15 million per year and according to Yahoo, he will be introduced at Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday.; The move for Bale is likely a response to Barcelona signing Neymar and finishing ahead in La Liga and now he joins a club that has had some of the best players in the world. Bale has been considered a great talent for some time and now he will have the contract and the pressure behind it.

Bale has developed into one of the best players in the world while playing for the Spurs and he won numbers awards last season and also had 26 goals and is still very young at 26. Bale was the league and Football Writers' Association player of the year last season and his new deal would be a record after the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo for 80 back in 2009 from Manchester United.
