Vikings Rumors: Minnesota Claims J'Marcus Webb After Chicago Bears Release, Adrian Peterson 2,000 Yards Realistic In 2013?

The Chicago Bears released veteran offensive lineman J'Marcus Webb during their round of roster cuts for the 53-man deadline on Saturday and it didn't take long for him to be snatched up elsewhere, as the Minnesota Vikings claimed him on waivers on Sunday.

According to ESPN.com, the Bears decided to release Webb after some uneven play over the past couple seasons and he also is known for being the player to have a sideline disagreement with quarterback Jay Cutler. New head coach Marc Trestman is overhauling the offensive line and can play both right and left tackle, which he did last season. The Vikings have some injury issues on the line and now Webb gives them depth and some flexibility as they put together a strong front for Adrian Peterson.

The Vikings were very consistent on the offensive line last season, with all starters being active for the full 16 game schedule and the team comes in after being second in the league in rushing yards per game with over 160 yards.
