Michael Boley, Aaron Maybin, Daniel Fells, Marvin Austin and Kellen Davis Get Free Agent Tryouts As Bengals, Cowboys or Seahawks To Sign Players?

The first week of the NFL season brought a number of injuries to teams around the league and with a game coming on Thursday, many teams are bringing in free agents for tryouts, including some notable names like Michael Boley, Aaron Maybin, Daniel Fells, Marvin Austin, Kellen Davis and Justin Tryon.

A number of teams are looking at players on Tuesday, including the Falcons after Roddy White's ankle injury took him out of action on Sunday and the team will look at a few players, including Lavelle Hawkins, Mohamed Massaquoi and Courtney Roby, while the Bilsl will kick the wheels on Brandon Smith. The Panthers have brought in a  number of players to try out, including Michael Jasper, GJ Kinne and Nick Stephens, while the Bengals brought in Michael Boley at linebacker as well as two other players to try out.

The Packers have some serious line issues this season after losing players in the preseason and having a tough day in Week 1 and they will look at three players, including Bryant Browning, Tyler Horn and Michael Huey. The Colts are bringing in some defensive backs and tuning backs to look at to add depth to Ahmad Bradshaw and Donald Brown, while the Chiefs are looking at DT Marvin Austin as well as Jordan Miller and Lance Lewis.

The Vikings brought in a couple players while the Eagles will look at center David Molk and after the offensive struggles on Sunday, the Seahawks will look at a number of players, including tight ends Kellen Davis and Daniel Fells as well as names like Hall Davis and Justin Cole. The Titans will look at some linebackers and tackles, while the Buccaneers will look at former Giant Tyler Sash as well as Justin Tryon at defensive back to possibly add more depth behind Darrelle Revis after his first game back.

The Giants previously released Austin, Boley and Curry, with Boley getting cut looser earlier in the year due to his salary and a legal issue. The linebacker helped the team win the Super Bowl and had 84 tackles last season and he remained a free agent into week 2 due to the rules about veterans and guaranteed contracts and the Bengals could decide to bring him in.

The Seahawks have Zach Miller and the team likely wants to add some depth at the position. The Giants worked out Curry and gave him a chance to make the team, but he was released during the cut downs for rosters after not playing much in the preseason.
