The Houston Rockets are on an international trip with point guard Jeremy Lin the star of the show and the team will play against the Indiana Pacers early Sunday morning in the east coast at 1:30 am at Taipei Arena and the game will be on NBA TV and streaming through the NBA league website.
The game is the third for bothe the Pacers and the Rockets and is a homecoming of sorts for Jeremy Lin, who has been a superstar in his parents home country. The Houston Rockets are heading into the 2013-14 season with an NBA championship on their minds and after signing Dwight Howard the team feels it already has the roster in place to do it, but with Marcus Camby going down with a foot injury, the team may start looking for added depth and reinforcements.

According to Pro Basketball Talk, the Rockets could be without Camby for up to two months if he needs surgery, but the center will try to avoid that while rehabbing the foot over the next couple weeks before the regular season starts. Camby is 39-years-old and has had injury issues in the past, so it's not as if the Rockets are surprised, but it still could be a significant hit to the bench if Camby has to have surgery on his foot.
The Rockets are fairly stacked up front with Omer Asik and Howard, but having Camby gives coach Kevin McHale some more depth and flexibility and the team hopes Camby can avoid the surgery. Camby said that the injury is a tear to his plantar fascia and it comes after he dealt with injuries last season while playing in 24 games for the NY Knicks. The Rockets have a strong front line and Asik is coming off of a year when he averaged a double-double in points and rebounds, while Howard likely will finally be fully healthy after playing with injuries last season.
The Rockets ranked second in the league in points per game last season with James Harden leading the way and the team also ranked in the top 10 in rebounding, something that should happen again with Howard and Asik up front. The team has a number of options with players they brought in to camp and free agents, but they likely will wait and see whether Camby needs surgery or not.
