Bleacher Report Signs Ric Bucher As Former ESPN NBA Writer Joins New Website

Bleacher Report is expanding and bringing in a host of new talent and now one of those writers will be Ric Bucher, formerly of ESPN and ESPN the Magazine.

Bucher worked for ESPN for quite a while before leaving the network last year and now he will be the latest addition to the Bleacher Report stable, as they have been working on acquiring more talent and more writers from respectable websites, including ones like Yahoo and ESPN. Bucher is known for his solid analysis and good insider information and he is someone who has close ties to the NBA and can get sources for stories.

The hiring is another splash for the wesbite and adds another respected voice and talent to the list of writers and it's very likely that he will not be writing any top 10 lists or any other "Bleacher Report" type stories. Bucher used to contribute to ESPN The Magazine, SportsCenter and he also was on the NBA shows on ESPN and he was with the network for many years before leaving.

From Rich Bucher on Twitter: "Thrilled to announce I've found a new writing home for the 2013-14 NBA season: @BleacherReport. Details forthcoming..."
