Monday Night Football TV Schedule: Start Time and ESPN Channel For Week 7 MNF Game NY Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings

The Monday Night Football matchup for Week 7 is not the glamorous matchup that everyone thought when the schedule came out, as the New York Giants are 0-6 on the season, while the Vikings, a playoff team last season, are just 1-4 on the year and now the two teams will face off at Met Life Stadium in a game that will air on ESPN starting at 8:30 pm.

Check here for the Giants LIVE Stream and RADIO coverage for Monday Night Football against the Vikings on ESPN.

The Giants come into the game after nearly winning their first game against the Chicago Bears on Thursday night football, but of course the team lost after a late interception from Eli Manning and now the team comes into Monday night pretty banged up, as the team will be without Brandon Jacobs as well as offensive linemen, leaving Peyton Hillis the likely starting back for the game. Manning is having a tough season and now he will face off against a weak defense in Minnesota and a team that ranks 30th in the league in passing yards allowed with over 300, meaning he could have a field day.

The game is set up for the Giants to win and if they don't fans might just give up on the team until 2014. There is a different between being able to watch the team you love play badly and giving up on them and this season the Giants have given fans no reason to cheer. This game is now there season, as fans and players and management can't talk about anything this season until they get a victory. This game is set up to win for the Giants, as the Vikings have a number of things stacked against them, including:

This is a home game for the Giants.

The team had off since last Thursday, making it a long week and since it's a Monday game, it's even longer.

The Vikings are coming off of an embarrassing loss.

The team has a new quarterback in Josh Freeman.

Who was terrible in three games for the Bucs this season.

The Vikings give up a ton of yards and Adrian Peterson is banged up.

The team now has two games before its bye week and any chance they have at making the season right starts now, as they play the Vikings and then the Eagles and they still need their first divisional win of the season with four games overall left to play against the Cowboys, Eagles and two against the Redskins. After the bye in Week 9, which is much needed, the team will play three straight home games and here is why they need to turn things around and they have no excuse.

The team has been home since the Thursday game and with a long week and a home game and then a game in Philly, which is so close, they will have a bye and then THREE home games, meaning the team will be together and in the facility for over a month. If they are a good team, they have time to get things right. After playing the Eagles, the team will matchup against the Raiders, Packers and Cowboys at home and then the Redskins and Chargers on the road. After the Seahawks they finish with the Lions and then home against the Redskins in Week 17.
