Who Will Sing National Anthem in Game 5 of the World Series?

As always, the highlight during the pregame show; the singing of the nation's anthem. Who will be singing the "Star Spangled Banner" on Monday?

Harry Connick Jr.

He is a multi-talented performer who might simply stick to only singing tonight, but who knows what the man will do. He has been nominated for multiple awards, most recently the 2012 Grammy's where he was nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal album for live work "In Concert on Broadway."

While the album features Connick Jr. singing, the singer/songwriter and composer is not a stranger to Broadway's stages. Connick Jr. has been a part of three plays in his career and his acting skills have taken him from Hollywood to televisions around the world. He has been in Law & Order, Will & Grace, while also appearing in "Dolphin Tale", which was released in 2011 and "P.S. I Love You."

As a singer, Connick Jr. has been around since the late 1980's. His foundation is jazz, but he has made his name in the pop world.

How has Connick Jr. handled the pressure of singing one of the most difficult anthems? Easily, going to Twitter and sharing ideas on what he could do to make things better. He has always been considered an innovator in the music world, well, Connick Jr. would like to keep that reputation afloat, but this time in front of millions watching at home.

There you have it. Not only will he entertain the fans with his voice, but he will show his athletic abilities on the field and will attempt to steal second base. Talk about a series full of surprises. The best of luck to Connick Jr. with his rendition and hopefully he does steal the base.
