There will be two doubles and two singles matchups, however, we will stick to the main players in the Men's Singles tourney.
First up at 9 a.m. ET, it is the most dominant player in Men's tennis entering the 2013 season; Rafael Nadal. He has been fearless after returning from knee surgery, showing flashes of being the exact same player prior to his injuries that forced him out of the game for almost an entire season. Nadal is still fast and comical with his shots. Though we've seen it many a times, the spin the man puts on the ball remains incredible.
He faces Stanislas Wawrinka, who is breaking out of the shadows of fellow countryman, Roger Federer. The two once played together and it helped Wawrinka gain relevance in Men's Doubles, but now, he is attempting to make a name for himself in Men's Singles. Wawrinka is one win away from advancing out of the Round Robin, but today's matchup is a real tough one for him.
Rafael Nadal vs. Stanislas Wawrinka: Advantage Rafa... Nadal is 11-0 in his career against the Swiss. The two have met three times and Nadal has won all seven sets played. It is almost safe to say Nadal is in to the next round, but the game has to be played.
At 8 p.m. GMT/3 p.m. ET it's David Ferrer vs. Tomas Berdych and this is the elimination game. Both Ferrer and Berdych lost to Nadal and Wawrinka, respectively, in their first games in the round robin. Ferrer did not win a single set and Berdych let momentum slip away after he took the second set from Wawrinka in Day 1 of the tournament.
Ferrer has two titles in the 2013 season, while Berdych is still searching for his first. Ferrer has the advantage heading into this matchup as the Spaniard is 7-3 against the Czech. The two have been facing off since 2004 and they last met in 2013 at the World Tour Masters in Paris, France. Ferrer won that match in three sets and has won the last two matches against Berdych.
