Fantasy Football Best Free Agents Week 10: Ben Tate, Dennis Johnson Starting Over Arian Foster With Rashad Jennings and Giovani Bernard After Season Ending Injury

The fantasy football week is going down hard on Sunday and now that reports have come out that Arian Foster will be out for the season, players like Ben Tate, Dennis Johnson and Rashad Jennings are good starting options at running back as well as Giovani Bernard.

Foster reportedly will be out for the season after injuring his back and now the Texans will have to figure out what life will be like without him yet again and that leaves Ben Tate to start the game and he has cracked ribs, so owners should definitely look to Johnson as a solid option. Giovani Bernard is playing the Ravens and he could be a nice option to start, while Jennings is in great position for the Raiders, as Darren McFadden is injured again and the team is playing the Giants, a team that gives up a nice chunk of yards per game on the ground.

Foster was injured at a terrible time for fantasy owners, as he had been great in his previous three games, not rushing for less than 98 yards and he also had two nice 100 yards games with 141 and 102 yards before and now he will be done for the year. The team is likely to put Foster on the IR and that will end his season and that makes Ben Tate and Dennis Johnson solid pickups and Jennings will be a great starting option moving forward during the season. Deji Karim will get in as the third back and now Jennings, Tate and Johnson are the best options to start on Sunday.

The New England Patriots have a bye week and while they have been dealing with plenty of injury issues this season and heading into the game against the Steelers the team was not playing all that well on offense, but that's over now, as they put up over 50 points and had great performances for fantasy football owners of Tom Brady, Stevan Ridley, Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola and Aaron Dobson.

The Pats improved to 5-0 at home this season and now is 7-2 on the year and first in the AFC East and they got some impressive performances on Sunday, as the team finally clicked on all cylinders after dealing with a number of injuries. Tom Brady had over 400 yards passing and four touchdowns and Rob Gronkowski had his first breakout game of the season since returning from his injuries with nine catches for 143 yards and one touchdown on the day, while the team had two other receivers also over 100 yards. Amendola and Dobson each had over 100 yards and it was by far the best performance for Brady this season and the running game got involved too with Stevan Ridley adding 115 yards and two scores to give the team a 400 yard passer, three 100 yard receivers and a 100 yard rusher.

Brady rebounded from a tough game last week against the Dolphins and now the team is getting on track at the right time and they finally had all their offensive weapons on the field at the same time and the results were clearly explosive even it was against a struggling Steelers team. The Patriots set a record for points scored against the Steelers and overall the offense was working in all phases, as they gained over 600 total yards in the game, by far a season high and Brady was very accurate, missing on only 10 passes and he made things look easy. Danny Amendola had some impressive play with a near 60-yard touchdown catch and the team also got solid contributions from the rest of the receivers.

The main focus was on Ridley, Amendola, Gronkowski and Dobson and with players like Kenbrell Thompkins and Julian Edelman on the roster and Shane Vereen on his way back from an injury, the sky may be the limit for this Patriots offense. The team now has a bye week and it comes at the perfect time, as they will pick back up with the Carolina Panthers on Monday night football and that means a long week and the Denver Broncos will be next on the schedule after that and it could be a tough test for Tom Brady up against Peyton Manning.
