Believe it or not, though they are 3-5 and possess a better record than the Giants, the Raiders are the underdogs. The Giants are winners of two straight game and are coming off a Bye. The Giants will look to improve to 3-6, but the Raiders are trying to inch closer to .500. They care more than capable of stealing one in New York, but that will be up to the Giants defense.
In their last two games, however, the Giants' defense has been extremely stingy, only allowing seven points in each of their last two games. The Giants offense has been bad in 2013, but they are at least good enough to score more than seven points in a game.
The Raiders have a lot of question marks in their team, but they are at least playing together and stringing enough wins so far in the season, to at least place them in the battle. After beating the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Raiders were creamed by Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles. Playing in the toughest division in football, the Raiders deserve some credit for their weekly efforts. Will they make the playoffs, no, but this will help them in the future.
The Giants have the advantage in the passing game heading into this matchup, though Eli Manning has thrown for 15 interceptions. However, the Giants have to be weary of the Terrelle Pryor and Darren McFadden, both who have combined for close to 800 yards rushing and five touchdowns this season. The Giants' running game is lousy and barely poses a threat to their opponent.
