Chelsea look to bring in Dembele

Chelsea are looking to add another Belgian to their squad by snapping up Moussa Dembele.

The Sun suggests that the Champions League winners are keen on bringing the playmaker to Stamford Bridge, a few days after signing compatriot Eden Hazard.

Dembele has just one year remaining on his contract and has reportedly told his club he will not sign a new one.

The Belgian had an impressive season with Fulham, impressing the big clubs with his creativity and guile. Fulham are also bracing up for the exit of their best player - Clint Dempsey.

Dembele has also been linked with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal while the Gunners are also keeping an eye on Dempsey.

Meanwhile, Shanghai Shenhua are still positive about signing Didier Drogba. Contract talks between both parties had stalled recently after the axing of Jean Tigana, with several quarters suggesting Drogba might sign for Real Madrid.

However, new coach Sergio Batista said he was hopeful of bringing in the Ivorian striker. "The people from the club are doing their best to bring Drogba here.

"Every coach in the world wants to get Drogba on the team and I hope everything is okay."

Batista also said he has no problems with player-coach Nicolas Anelka. "I'm open to hear Anelka and all the players on the team speak about what's happening on the field. But the coach has the final decision.

"Anelka is one of the best players in the world and I want to keep him on the pitch."

A man that has been linked with the vacant manager's job at Chelsea - Harry Redknapp -- will hold crunch talks with Tottenham about his future, according to The Sun.

Redknapp has just one year remaining on his contract and will talk to chairman Daniel Levy to discuss his future with the club. Tottenham were unlucky to miss out on a Champions League berth despite finishing fourth, after Chelsea's Champions League victory. There is fear among several players that Redknapp could leave the club, paving the way for several of their big stars to also head towards the exit door.
