The English Premier League schedule picks up on Monday with a huge match between Arsenal and Chelsea and the Barclays table could have a new team on top once again after Liverpool jumped into first place this weekend and the match is streaming live online and on the radio from Emirates Stadium starting up at 8 pm.
The match has plenty riding on it leading into the Boxing Day schedule and with Arsenal leading the table for most of the season, a victory over the Blues would put the team back on top for the time being into next week. The Gunners are one point behind the Reds right now after Luis Suarez put the team up on Saturday and Manchester City is now tied with Arsenal and are on second place, while Chelsea was pushed down to the fifth position after Everton won over the weekend as well and win would put them tied with the Reds at the top of the table.
Arsenal comes into the match after a bad loss against Manchester City with a 6-3 score and the team is looking to get back on track after that game and they haven't pulled a clean win in a couple weeks and will be looking to get back on the positive side of things after also losing to Napoli in the Champions League and drawing with Everton in the previous match before that. The Gunners have some tough matchups coming up after the Chelsea match with West Ham United and Newcastle on the road and then after that the team plays against Cardiff City and Tottenham.
Chelsea comes in after getting defeated in the Capital One Cup against Sunderland 2-1 and the team just was able to get by Crystal Palace in the match before that and now they will try and get a positive result as they embark on a tough stretch. The Blues play against Liverpool and Swansea over the next could weeks and they also have an away match with Southampton and an FA Cup matchup and heading into 2014, the Blues would like to start moving up the table as they start to try and play better and more consistent.
