CFP Championship Game Schedule: Alabama vs. Clemson Title Game, TV Coverage ESPN, Crimson Tide Favored Over Tigers, Date January 11

The NCAA College football championship game is here and that means the Florida State Seminoles and the Auburn Tigers will be going at it starting up at 8:30 pm ET and kickoff will begin right around there on ESPN for FSU and Auburn and the matchup for the final BCS title has an undefeated team and the SEC champion for the 2014 game.

Auburn comes in having won the SEC over Missouri and Alabama, while Florida State skated in on their easy ACC schedule, but they are still a dominant team, winning over very tough opponents like Syracuse, Idaho, Wake Forest, NC State, Nevada, Bethune-Cookman, Florida and Pitt, while Auburn had to play an easy schedule in their conference against teams like Ole Miss, LSU, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas A&M and Mississippi State, losing only to LSU in the process. Jameis Winston obviously deserved the Heisman after putting up over 30 touchdowns against those tough teams and now he will be playing an Auburn defense that has given up over 100 points in the past three weeks.

Both of these teams put up huge offensive numbers in yardage and the game on Monday night has the chance to be one of the highest scoring in recent memory. The Tigers average over 300 rushing yards per game, while Florida State averages just over 200 and are allowing just 10 points per contest. FSU has not played anyone as high powered as Auburn yet and while they killed Clemson when they were ranked number three, that was the toughest team they faced all season and now they have players like Tre Mason and Nick Marshall to worry about.

The Seminoles come into the game ranked first in the nation in points scored on offense with over 50 and they are averaging well over 300 yards passing per game and now Winston will try and get over 4,000 for the season and he already has 35 touchdowns and his Heisman and with rape charges behind him, he can look at just football now and adding a national title trophy to his resume after winning the Heisman and avoiding criminal charges this season. The Florida State defense has a leg up over the Tigers, but they won't go down easy and now the matchup could turn on a number of x factor players and Winston is at the top of that list.

The kickoff for the actual game starts at 8:30 pm, but ESPN is going full throttle and they have coverage on all their networks all day heading into the big game.
