The English Premier League schedule picks up on Tuesday with a number of nice matchups and heading into the day the EPL table has Arsenal leading Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool as well as Tottenham and Everton and clubs like Manchester United, the Gunners, Reds and Everton will be in action starting at 2:45 pm ET from the NBC Live Extra website.
The standings has a close group at the top with Arsenal leading Man City by one point, while Manchester City has that same lead over Chelsea and all three are close at the top ahead of Liverpool and Tottenham, who are six points back of third place. The Reds and the Spurs are looking to at least qualify for the Champions League and the top three teams appear locked into the top spots, as they have been playing well this season and it looks like they will be there for the long haul, but clubs like Everton and Manchester United will not give up easily.
Man U is starting to put together some better play after losing in the FA Cup and Capital One Cup and they just made a transfer deal with Juan Mata that should get things going. The club is 14 points back but that hasn't stopped Mata, who says the team can win the Premier League with some positive results coming up in the second half and they will have their work cut out for them. Behind Man U on the league table is Newcastle, Southampton, Aston Villa as well as Hull City and Norwich.
Man U is playing against Cardiff at Old Trafford and at the same time Norwich and Newcastle will be matching up at Carrow Road, while Southampton and the Gunners have a matchup at St. Mary's Stadium and that comes as Fulham and Swansea play at Liberty Park. The late matches has Crystal Palace and Hull City playing at Selhurst Park, while the most anticipated match of the day will be Liverpool taking on Everton and that will be at the Anfield. Luis Suarez will be the main focus and he comes in with a big lead in goal scoring in the EPL and leads with 22.
